Charles I. McVey, age 85, of Ben Jones Loop, Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Friday, August 31, 2018 at the University of Tennessee medical Center in Knoxville. He was born on March 27, 1933. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jim McVey; and a daughter, Debbie McVey. Charles was a veteran of the United States Navy. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Moses McVey of Williamsburg; daughter, Kathryn McVey of New York; brother, William McVey of New York;… Read More » several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. Monday, September 3, 2018 at Croley Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at1:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Carpenter officiating. Following the Service he will be laid to rest in the Oaklawn Cemetery at Pleasant View, Kentucky. Military Graveside Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #88 of Corbin.
