Bruno Novak, 40, a resident of Greenville, PA, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He was born on June 2, 1978 to Michael Sr. and Deborah (Cann) Novak in Phoenix, Arizona. After graduating high school, Bruno worked as a Mechanical Contractor in the HVAC field. Bruno had recently become the Judge of Elections in Mercer County. He enjoyed time with his family and outdoor activities like fairs, car shows, campfires, and fishing.… Read More » He enjoyed trying new foods, but had a love for Mexican cuisine. He loved animals and also had a love of sharing his wide array of knowledge, from cars to politics to his type of cancer. The thing he loved most of all, however, was being a father. Bruno is survived by his mother, Debbie Ritts and her husband, Gregory; his daughter, Sylvia Novak; his brother, Michael Novak, Jr.; his sisters, Crystal Novak and Harley Novak; and his girlfriend, Lisa McLoud. He is also survived by his three nieces, whom he adored. In addition to his father, Michael Novak, Sr., Bruno was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bruno and Goldie Novak; his maternal grandparents, Bob and Helen Cann; and his great-grandmother, Norma Kelly. A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Bruno at the Rainbow Sportsman Club, 481 Rainbow Road, Polk, PA, on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 2 pm. Memorial contributions can be made in Bruno’s name to the Sarcoma Foundation of America, 9899 Main Street, Suite 204, Damascus, MD 20872.
