Bruce Reeves 2018

Bruce Reeves passed away peacefully on September 18th surrounded by his beloved family. Bruce is survived by his wife of 59 years, Connie Fowler Reeves, daughter Karen (Scott), son Mike (Terri), son Kirk (Shelley), sister, Pam Garcia, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Bruce was born in Chicago, IL and lived much of his childhood in Vallejo, CA. Later he graduated from UOP, where he met Connie. Bruce spent the majority of his professional career with the County of Monterey Assessor’s office. In 1982, he was elected as the County Assessor/Recorder/Clerk and served for 16 years before retiring. Bruce enjoyed many hobbies (softball, tennis, golf, and walking his dog Bogey), but he enjoyed spending time with his family the most. Bruce spent many happy hours on the sidelines of his kids’ sporting events and watching his sons surf. Connie and Bruce enjoyed traveling and explored many countries around the world. Bruce will be remembered for his integrity, fairness, generosity, and always putting his family first. He will be greatly missed. Rather than a public service, Bruce will be fondly remembered in a private family gathering.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Bruce Reeves 2018.
