Obituary for Mrs. Brenda Gail Payton Mrs. Brenda Gail Payton, 68, of Oxford, passed away on September 4, 2018. She is survived by her husband, Calloway Payton Jr.; daughter, Julie; son, Mark (Cheryl); daughter, Tammy (Mike); granddaughter, Raven; two grandsons, Skylar and Dakota (Lisa); great granddaughter, Gracelynn Faith, and a sister, Darlene (Billy). She is preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Helen Newell; sister, Sandra Key; three brothers, Billy Newell, Norman Newell, and Curtis Newell, and a great granddaughter, Emilie Rae Marie Payton. She was a lifelong resident of Oxford. She was a caregiver to many extended family member and ‘Moma’ to all who met her. She had many friends who proclaimed she was ‘the most wonderful woman’. Calloway and all of her children would like to thank you for all of the kindness and sympathy you have shown. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until service time on the same day.
