OBITUARY Billie Ruth Womack Quinn July 19, 1930 – September 1, 2018 Mrs. Billie Ruth Womack Quinn joined her loved ones in Heaven on Friday, August 31, 2018. Funeral Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Collier-Butler Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Pastor John Dickinson from East Gadsden Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services will direct. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Ruth Womack; her sister, Jessie Espy and her beloved husband, Freddie Quinn. Mrs. Quinn was a member of East Gadsden Baptist Church. She was a great cook and homemaker. She made gardens and canned vegetables. Mrs. Quinn sewed and could make anything. She turned 88 and could still run her own lawnmower. She always had a project going and could never sit still. She was the best mom, grandmother and great grandmother. Our hearts are broken and we’ll miss her here on earth, but know we’ll see her in heaven. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Vicki (Danny) Leak; Kathy Bridges; and her son, Steve (Donna) Quinn. She loved her granddaughters, Jennifer Webb; Laura Leak; Paige (Josh) Cox; Maddie (Ryan) Crandall; and Jamie Bridges. She loved her precious great grandchildren, Garrison Webb; Dalton Rochester; Colby Cox; Quinn James Crandall; and Emma Bridges. She also leaves behind a beloved aunt, Veda Arnold; and several special nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to East Gadsden Baptist Church or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. The family will receive friends from 1 pm until the hour of service at 3 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
