Obituary for Biddie Joyce Stewart Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch Mrs. Biddie Joyce Stewart, 88, passed away Saturday, September, 29, 2018, at Methodist Hospital in Olive Branch, MS. Visitation will be Monday, October 1, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (4046 Pleasant Hill Rd, Olive Branch). A funeral service will be held Monday, October 1, 2018, at 12:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Stewart was born in Blytheville, AR. She was an active member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, and enjoyed being a part of the seniors group, and teaching Sunday school for over fifty years being a Christian mentor to many children. When not attending church, one could find her serving the Olive Branch Community as the director of the thrift shop. Mrs. Stewart loved her family more than anything, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will truly be missed by her family and her church. Mrs. Stewart is survived by her daughter, Pam Adams of Olive Branch; son, Larry Garner of Memphis, TN; step-daughter, Debbie (Gil) Leverne of Senatobia; step-son, Phillip (Liz) Stewart of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Stewart and her brother, Wendell Keeling.
