Obituary for Mrs. Betty Jones Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jean Jones, 84, of Henderson, will be held at 10AM on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Henderson under the direction of Crawford – A. Crim Funeral Home. Officiants will be Dr. David Higgs, Rev. Don Edmiston, Rusty Phenix, and Dennis Rivers. Interment will follow at Rusk County Memorial Gardens under the direction of Crawford – A. Crim. A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Crawford – A. Crim Funeral Home. Mrs. Jones passed away on September 18, 2018 in Henderson. She was born on September 11, 1934 in Mexia, Texas to Ed Spharler and Estelle (Nix) Spharler. Betty was a housewife, as well as the bookkeeper for Jones Dozer Service. She was a Director of the Young Married Sunday School Class for 35 years, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Henderson for 71 years. Preceding her in death were her parents. Survivors include her husband, Dalton Jones of Henderson, numerous cousins, as well as a host of other friends and loved ones.
