Obituary for Bernice Bostick Bernice Bostick, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. A life-long resident of Philadelphia, PA, Bernice spent the last three years living with her daughter in Elmer, NJ. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Rudulpho and Concetta (Fabrizio) DiPentima and was a 1964 graduate of St. Hubert’s Catholic High School for Girls. Over the years, Bernice worked as a waitress and was most recently employed at Fisher’s Restaurant in Northeast Philadelphia. Bernice will be remembered as a free-spirited, independent woman. She loved going to the casinos and playing games in general, whether it be BINGO, playing cards and Pinochle or just about any board game, especially Monopoly or Life. And those who were close to her know how much Bernice enjoyed going to the mall and shopping. But, most importantly, she is known for her love of her grandchildren and the time that she got to spend with them. Once or twice a year, Bernice would just show up and take the grandkids with her and spoil them for a week or more. Bernice is survived by her daughter Michelle O’Brien and her husband Ed of Elmer; her son Joe Bostick, also of Elmer; her grandchildren Liam and Reagan O’Brien; and her brother Robert DiPentima and his wife Zelda of Philadelphia. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Joseph B. Bostick. A time to gather and celebrate Bernice’s life will be held on Tuesday night, September 4, 2018 at Adams Funeral Home, 111 S. Main Street, Elmer, NJ 08318 from 6 to 8 PM.
