OBITUARY Barry Willett June 17, 1965 – September 18, 2018 Barry J. Willett, 53, of Lakeville passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Sandra (Veary) Willett. Born in New Bedford, son of Margaret “Peg” Bergeron, he was a lifelong resident of the Long Pond area. He was a graduate of Apponequet Regional High School. Barry worked as a control room operator for Exelon, Mystic 7 in Charlestown, MA. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his Harley, boating on the pond, and spending time with his friends and family. Barry adored his wife and children. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Ashley Willett of Lakeville; one son, Chad Willett of Lakeville; sister, Danielle Bergeron of New Bedford; father-in-law, John W. Veary of Lakeville; sister-in-law, Cathy Chace and her husband John of Freetown; brother-in-law, John Veary and his wife Deborah of Lakeville; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. His funeral mass will be Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 10 am in St. John Neumann Church, 157 Middleboro Rd., E. Freetown. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Monday 4-8 pm.
