Obituary for Barbara L. Sisson Barbara Lavern Sisson, age 72, of Edwardsville, Illinois died at 6:47 p.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis. Barbara was a bonding mechanic having worked at McDonnel Douglas/Boeing in St. Louis. She was born January 3, 1946 in Litchfield, Illinois the daughter of the late Earl & Helen (Myers) Snyder. She is survived by 1 son, Donald W. Sisson, III & wife Carol of Edwardsville; 1 daughter, Shelly Bugg of Pontoon Beach, Illinois; 3 grandchildren, Darren Sisson, Geoffrey Bugg, and Katie Bugg; 1 great granddaughter, Scarlett Janson, and 3 brothers, Earl Snyder & wife Carol of Mt. Olive, Vernon Johnson, Jr. of Glen Carbon, and Larry Johnson of Marine. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Vernon Johnson. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Monday, October 1, 2018, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home. There will be no service. A private interment will follow at Valley View Cemetery.
