Obituary for Barbara B. Paris Barbara Barbare Paris, 73, widow of James D. Paris, passed away September 17, 2018. A native of Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Lola Thompson Barbare. Surviving are a daughter, Linda Andrews of Seneca; a sister, Linda Carolyn Brewer of Gastonia; four grandchildren, Shawn Gentry, Jennifer Pruitt, Mitchell Alavarces and Crystal McCullough; and eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Keith Kelly and Kimberly Pearson. Burial will follow in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shawn Gentry, Mitchell Alavarces, Thomas Andrews, Gary Pruitt, Jesse Gentry and Tim Barbare. Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary.
