Obituary for Ann Meredith Ann S. Meredith, 76 years old, passed away Sunday afternoon, September 23, 2018. She was born on August 8, 1942 in Detroit the daughter of William and Doris (Reamer) Clarke. Ann grew up in Redford and graduated from Redford High School. She went to school for nursing and became a Registered Nurse. While nursing, she worked at the Garden City Hospital, Botsford Hospital and for Temporary Healthcare of Detroit. A natural born retailer/entrepreneur, Ann sold oil paintings, jewelry and hand-made Lucky Ducks on the side. Ann started up her own business, the former Somewhere In Time store in Brighton. Ann was passionate about helping Veterans and with others, made quilts with the group “Quilts of Valor” which provided handmade quilts for those who served in the armed forces. Surviving are her children, Tracy (Vince) Segler and Richard (Pamela) Whittaker, and grandchildren, Alyssa and Evan. Two sisters: Jeanne (Gary) Price, Donna Olson, one brother Doug Clarke, and two nephews, Andrew and Brandon also survive. She is also survived by her step children: Christina (Mark) Meredith, Michael (Cindy) Meredith, Michelle (Kyle) Meredith, Melissa (David) Armin-Parcels, daughter-in-law Palmira Meredith and step grandchildren: Zach, Brooke, Alex, Chelsea, Michael Jr., Caitlin, Carter and step great grandchild Savannah. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 28, 2018 at St. Mary Magdalen Parish, Brighton. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Keehn Funeral Home, Brighton. Friends may visit at the church after 10:00 A.M. on Friday. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Brighton. Memorial Contributions in Ann’s name are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project or to the Humane Society of Livingston County.
