Amy Suzanne Hildebrand Cowell 1955 2018

Obituary for Amy Hildebrand (Cowell) Amy Suzanne Cowell Hildebrand 63, of Cookeville, Tennessee passed away quietly on July 31,2018 after years of living with COPD. Amy was born on May 10, 1955 in Dunellen, New Jersey. She was the third daughter of the late Donald W and Nancy B Cowell. She and her family moved from New Jersey to North Carolina in 1967 and then to Mississippi in 1972. She and her husband lived a number of places before moving to Cookeville, Tennessee where she had lived for the last 20+ years. Amy was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend. She served as a girl scout leader and she loved the time she spent with the girls, camping and crafting and doing community service. She enjoyed cooking and sewing which were gifts taught to her by her mother. Most of all she loved the time she spent with her family and the many friends who were like family. In June 1982 Amy married William “Bill” Jack Hildebrand II.They had been married for 35 years when he passed away in May of 2017. In addition to her parents and her spouse, Amy was preceded in death by her brother Peter D. Cowell and his wife Melisa Cowell, her sisters Beth Cowell Austin and Sarah Cowell. Her sister-in-law Eileen Fox and her brother-in-law AJ Hildebrand. Amy is survived by two sons Timothy N Broadway and William J Hildebrand III, her daughter Abby Hildebrand Koci and husband David Koci. Her sister Cindy C Hunnicutt, sister-in-law Bridget H Zuri and two grandchildren Caelan Broadway and Alivia Parrish. Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Amy’s Life at 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 109 West Broad St Cookeville, Tennessee.
