Obituary for Mr. Amos J. Holton Mr. Amos J. Holton was born January 9, 1946 to the late Alexander and Smither Brown Holton in Colquitt County, Georgia. He departed this life on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Amos was of the Baptist faith. He worked as a supervisor for Wells Aluminum for 35 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and gardening. He was an avid musician playing both the bass guitar and keyboard. He was also the manager for the Inspirational Cavaliers. Amos was married to Shirley Davis Holton for more than 35 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Fannie Pearl Holton, Ethel Pittman; three brothers, Jack Holton, Henry Holton and Raymond Holton. He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Shirley Davis Holton of Moultrie, Georgia; three sons, Chip Holton of Moultrie, Georgia, Tony Davis of Jersey City, New Jersey, Riccardo Holton of Atlanta, Georgia; one daughter, Felicia Jordan of Albany, Georgia; two step-sons, Ricky Harper (Carolyn) of Miami, Florida, Starvinsky Harper (Patricia) of Moultrie, Georgia; one step-daughter, Jill Roberts (Ronnie) of Tallahassee, Florida; one sister, Wyvomia Madison of Moultrie, Georgia; two brothers, Allen Riggens and Olden Riggens both of St. Petersburg, Florida; eleven grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Albert Davis, Jr. (Catherine), Earl Davis, Sr.; two sisters-in-law, Faye Taylor and Mary Clark all of Moultrie, Georgia; two special friends, Johnny Jefferson of Sylvester, Georgia and Lester Blakely of Lagrange, Georgia and a host of other relatives and friends.
