Alice Marie (Hayden) McBride, 94, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Monday, September 17, 2018 at Village at Hamilton Pointe. Alice was born in Evansville, Indiana on February 28, 1924 to the late Joseph and Francis “Fannie” June (Peters) Hayden. She was a 1941 graduate of Reitz Memorial High School and worked at the Vanderburgh County Auditor’s Office for 28 years. Alice is survived by her daughter, Kathy Anderson (Mike) of Saint Charles, IL; sons, Michael McBride (Mary) of Downers Grove, IL, Patrick McBride (Pam) of Evansville, IN, and Timothy McBride (Chrysann) of Lakewood, CO; sister, Audrey Boarman (Bill) of Evansville, IN; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Alice was preceded in death by her husband in 2013, Roscoe Edward McBride Jr.; parents; sister, Mildred Fuquay; brothers, George, Walter and Marty Hayden; granddaughter, Kelly Anderson; and by her daughter-in-law, Mary Lou McBride. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1303 S. Green River Rd., Evansville, IN 47715 with Father Bernie Etienne celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 E Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 where a memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue from 9:00 AM until Mass time on Saturday at the church.
