OBITUARY Alice Lucille Nesmith Fillingame December 16, 1923 – September 25, 2018 FILLINGAME, ALICE LUCILLE NESMITH, age 94 of Daphne, formerly of Birmingham, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Powell Fillingame; brothers, Bill Nesmith and Foyle Nesmith; sister, Margie Nesmith; and grandson, Brad Dargan. She is survived by her son, Joe Fillingame (Kathleen); daughter, Sharon Bender (Randy); grandsons, Steven Dargan (Alicia) and Jeff Dargan (Christina); great-grandchildren, Liam Dargan and Scarlett Dargan; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lucille was a longtime resident of Birmingham and active member of Lake Highlands Methodist Church. Her family will receive friends on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 10-11 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with her service beginning at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church 1343 Hueytown Road Hueytown, AL 35023.
