Albert Eugene Criner July 3, 1943 ~ September 22, 2018 Albert Eugene Criner, 75, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018. He was born in Texarkana, Texas, on July 3, 1943, the son of Will and Stella Moten Criner. He served his Country in the United States Army. Albert was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He married Dolly Johnson, together they raised two daughters. Dolly passed away in 2002. Albert loved tennis, music, bike riding, traveling, and especially his Raiders. He worked in the healthcare field during his life. He was a kind person with a beautiful heart, always making friends everywhere he went. Albert is survived by his daughters, Vanessa Johnson and Maija (Jake) Harrison; four grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy Ann Criner (Billy) Roberts. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brothers, Tom, McKinley, Mike, James Henry, J.C., and Richard Elcus; sisters, Donnie Lee Larry, Dorothy Nell Hughey, Willie Pearl Washington, and Dionne Holmes; and special nephew, Billy Washington. A Celebration of Life for Albert will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at the Roy Hope Community Center, 5051 South 2000 West. Military honors will be held accorded. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
