Obituary of Roger Applegate Roger Applegate, 72, of Leesburg, Texas was born March 10, 1946 in Mineola, Texas to Vernon Lee and Dorothy Aline Hall Applegate and passed away July 30, 2018 at his home. He was a member of the Leesburg Baptist Church. Mr. Applegate is survived by his brothers and their wives, Ronald and LaVerne Applegate of Wichita Falls and Jerry and Katrina Applegate of Pittsburg; sisters and their husbands, Doris and Benny Attaway of Pittsburg, Cathy and John Homer of Mt. Pleasant, and Tammy and Brian Davis of Pittsburg; Aunt, Louise Wilson of Mineola and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents Vernon Lee and Dorothy Aline Hall Applegate. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at 1:30 P.M. at Mt Pisgah Cemetery in Wood County. Visitation with the family will be at 10:00 A.M. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. David Kizer and Larry Black will officiate the service and pallbearers will be Chad Applegate, Derek Applegate, Dustin McNutt, Coleton McNutt, Ty McNutt, Benny Attaway, Jr., Kenneth Attaway, and Leslie Attaway. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jacob Concha, Jordan Concha, Brennan Davis, and Seth Mars. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
