Obituary for Michael Russo 1925-2018 Michael J Russo, 93 of, Ridley Park, PA, passed away alongside his loving family August 4, 2018 at Crozer Keystone Hospice in Taylor Hospital Born in Chester, PA, he was the son of the late Guisieppi and the late Adeline (Acunda) Russo. Mike was decorated war veteran, touring Europe during WWII, where he was awarded the Bronze Medal Star. He will be fondly remembered as an avid sports fan of both his Philadelphia Eagles and 76ers as well as a strong man; sound in faith, with nothing but love for his family. He will be missed. Predeceased by his wife Betty Jo (Davis) Russo, his son Joseph M. Russo, his brother Matthew Russo and his sister Mary Spinelli. Survived by His children John (Kate) Russo, Janet (Guy) Pisano, Nanci (Charles) White and Marian Russo. Seven grandchildren, Lauren (John), Jenna (Benjamin), Kerri, Jacqui, Eric, Madison, Michael, three great grandchildren, Mila, Alexi and Paris. Sister Gloria Lodice. Funeral Mass Friday August 10, 2018 at 10am at St Rose of Lima Church 1901 Chester Pike at Simpson St. Eddystone, PA Visitation: Friday 9-9:45 am at the the church. Interment: Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
