Kathryn “Kathi” Marie Ashmore, 66, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 23, 2018. Born on January 27, 1952 in Aledo, IL to the late Francis and Florence Marie McDonald, she was a member of the American Legion and the Steve Jeffris Fan Club. Kathi worked as a bartender in Rock Island, IL., then as an event coordinator for Marian University for over 20 years. Kathi is survived by her husband, Richard B. Ashmore; children, Joseph R. She was preceded in death by her brother, Edward McDonald. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. Additional funeral services will be conducted at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home in Rock Island, IL.
