Alice A. Friddle, 71, of Brazil, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018 in her residence surrounded by her family. She was born August 4, 1947 in Brazil, the daughter of Mary Brown Smith. Her family lived in Staunton and attended school there. She was a housekeeper with Howard Johnson Hotel in Brazil. Alice was a member of Christ Community Church and attended bible study regularly. She enjoyed coloring, puzzles, word searches, crocheting and spending time with her family. Alice is survived… Read More » by two sons, Steven Craig and Larry Craig, Jr. and his wife Bobbi Jo; a daughter, Penny Morrison and her husband Jim; two brothers, Mike Smith and his wife, C.J. and Dan Miller and his companion, Cathy; five sisters, Bev Batchelor and her husband, Earl, Brenda Cooksey and her husband, Virgil, Bonnie Richardson, Debbie Myers and her husband, Mark and Vickie Pinnick; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Stephanie, Matthew, Amber, Jessie, Michaela and Riley; and seven great-grandchildren, Holli, Madisyn, Malikai, Oliveau, Amythest, Matilyn and Allison. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Larry Craig, Sr., and Bernie Friddle; a daughter, Becky Craig; a brother, Bill Smith; and a sister, Connie Smith. Per Alice’s wishes, cremation was chosen. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E.
