Obituary for Grace L. Bader Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018 at her home. Age 92 years. The daughter of the late Franklin and Anna (Ryman) Richardson, Grace was born on February 4, 1926 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Richard J. Bader on July 3, 1948. He predeceased her on July 16, 1996. Grace was employed by the Social Security Administration retiring in 1988. She was a long time member of the Lupus Association of America and was a former president of the Junior Reading Club. Grace enjoyed playing cards, various games and especially spending time with her family. Surviving are one daughter and two sons, Susan Bader, Columbus, Ohio; Franklin and Barbara Bader, Saginaw; Richard and Lynn Bader, Saginaw; a granddaughter, Anna Marie Bader; a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Grace Rivette; many nieces and nephews. Grace was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Bader; a grandson, E. Michael Fuller; three sisters, Mary Payne, Anne Kline and Emmy Lou O’Gorman; two brothers, Franklin and Courtland Richardson. Funeral Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Fr. Richard Jozwiak will officiate. Honoring Mrs. Bader’s wishes, cremation will follow. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.
