Mr. Edward “Ed” Pigg, 84, of Gurley, Alabama, passed away on Thursday morning. He was a Christian and attended Chase Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter & Alberta “Birdie” McBride Pigg; His brothers: Bradley Pigg, David Pigg, and Jackie Pigg; His sisters: Inez Miller, Dianne Hill, and Agnes Elliff. Surviving family members include his daughter, Judy (Mike) Osmer; His two grandsons: Cody Osmer and Clay Osmer; His great-grandchildren: Rylee Osmer and Chance Osmer; His brother, Robert “Bobby” Pigg and his sisters, Margie Owens and Wanda Hicks; His special friend, Peggy Frazier, her daughter, Jackie Hopkins, her two sons, Cade Griffin and Noah Griffin, and her daughter Marley Misterka. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11am at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Paul Smith officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow in Stateline Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Ramp School of Ministry; 340 Bexar Ave East; Hamilton, Alabama 35570. Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
