Obituary for Ms. Carolyn B. Cooper Ms. Carolyn B. Cooper, age 80, passed way Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, May 21, 2018 in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral Services. Rev. Dr. Bryan Myers will officiate. Interment will be private.The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until service time Monday, at Aldridge Funeral Services. Ms. Carolyn B. Cooper was born January 1, 1938 in Langdale, Alabama daughter of the late Rushan Leon Boddie and the late Mary Nina Brannon Boddie. She retired from Cooper Lighting after 32 years of service as a secretary in the marketing department. Carolyn was a member of Central Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters; Christy McAllister (Tim) of Americus, Debbie Sanders of Valley, AL and Terry Earles (Hank) of Troy, AL, five grandchildren; Reese McAllister, Chase McAllister, and Traci George of AL, Bridget George and Wyatt Walters of Camp Hill, AL, three great grandchildren; Macayla, Ashlyn, and Lauran Ashley, and a number of nieces and nephews, also survive. Ms. Cooper was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Cooper and a brother Bobby Boddie. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Baptist Church, 190 Upper River Rd, Americus, GA 31709.
