Elizabeth “Betty” Morehead , 94, of Little Hocking, OH departed this life August 4, 2018 at The Arbors in Marietta, OH. She was born on October 11, 1923 in Nitro, WV the daughter of the late Savilla and William Russell. She graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1942. She was a homemaker and member of Little Hocking Church of Christ. She is survived by her daughter Dianna Dowler (Gary), sons James Morehead (Shelly) and Charles Morehead (Sharry); eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Husband, Charles “Chuck” Morehead, and brother William “Bill” Russell. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 9, 2018, 1:00 pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Evangelist Steve Fuchs officiating. Burial will be at Rockland Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 6-8 PM and Thursday one hour prior to the service.
