Obituary of William Longstreet William O’Brien Longstreet, 54, of Falls, died Tuesday at Geisinger Community Medical Center’s Intensive Care Unit, surrounded by his loving family and friends after a tragic accident. He was the husband of Anna (Franko) Longstreet. Born Feb. 22, 1964 in Scranton, he was the son of the late Richard and Ann A. (O’Brien) Longstreet. He graduated from Abington Heights High School in 1982. Bill was the owner of Endless Coffee Service and the former owner of Endless Mountain Water Company. He was an avid outdoorsman. His activities included but were not limited to hunting, golfing and fishing. Bill truly enjoyed being in nature, most of all with his family and friends. He loved his chickens and dogs. He loved life, God, his family and friends in such a tremendous way. He was always positive and coined the phrase, “It’s a great day to be alive!” The family would like to thank all of their friends and family members who meant so much to Bill as well as the Geisinger CMC ICU staff for their support during the last few days of Bill’s life. Surviving in addition to the love of his life, Anna, are his children, William Raymond, Andrew James and Theresa Rose Longstreet; siblings, Lynn Longstreet Walters, Samuel Longstreet (Lisa Notari Longstreet); and sister-in-law, Phyllis Longstreet; his mother- and father-in-law, Raymond and Frances Franko; brother- and sisters-in-law, Michael (Gail) Franko, Daniel (Ann) Franko, Andrew (Catherine) Franko, Luke (Kerri) Franko; and many loving nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Richard “Dick” Longstreet. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. from Church of St. Benedict, Newton-Ransom Boulevard, Clarks Summit, to be celebrated by Monsignor Joseph G. Quinn, pastor. Interment to follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery, Waverly Twp. The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday from 2 to 9 p.m. at the Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Service Inc., 111 Colburn Ave., Clarks Summit, PA 18411. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kevin Kitchnefsky Foundation for Spinal Cord Research, 109 German Hill Road, Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
