William J Bill Armstrong Jr May 13 1959 July 7 2018 (age 59)

William J. “Bill” Armstrong, Jr., 59, of Muncy, went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, July 7, 2018 at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport. Born May 13, 1959 in Williamsport he was the son of the late William J. Sr. and Shirley (Young) Armstrong. On August 14, 1981, Bill married the former Vivian Tarantino, who survives. Together they celebrated nearly 37 years of marriage. Bill was a 1977 graduate of Williamsport High School. He worked for the former Canteen Vending, Williamsport until 1992. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Muncy. Bill enjoyed crossword puzzles, building model train displays and collecting model classic cars. In his spare time, he loved to feed the squirrels on his back porch. Surviving in addition to his wife are one son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Jennifer Armstrong, of Muncy; four sisters, Dorothy Wenzel and Karen Hiller, both of Hughesville, Deborah Walker, of Muncy and Theresa Armstrong, of Erie; one grandson, Jonah William Armstrong; and one step granddaughter, Summer Fremberg. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Grace Baptist Church, 5471 Clarkstown Rd., Muncy, with his pastor, the Rev. Charles Teffeteller, officiating. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
