William Acey Emanuel, 88, of Panama City, FL, died Monday, July 23, 2018. He was born December 3, 1929 in Panama City. William proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and retired after 22 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy L. Emanuel; father, Donald E. Emanuel; mother, Clara M. Dykes; and three brothers, Odolph, Donald L. and Randall C. Emanuel. Those left to cherish his memory include his two daughters, Cynthia G. Lepson… Read More » of College Park, MD and Billie E. Feldhaus of McLean, VA; two sons, Charles W. Emanuel of Lynn Haven and Michael L. Emanuel of Dumfries, VA; seven grandchildren, Melissa R. Douglass, Margeaux R. Emanuel, Jennifer L. Helmer, Jessica A. Lepson, Michael Emanuel, Caroline L. Feldhaus and Julia C. Feldhaus; nine great grandchildren, Kathryn, William, James, Acey, Arlo, Everly, Colette, Henry and Samantha; brother, Donald Nixon Emanuel; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 27, 2018 at Heritage Funeral Home with Chaplain Craig Brannon officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
