Obituary for William A. “Bill” Weaver William A. “Bill” Weaver, 62, of Frewburg, N.Y. and formerly of Kiantone, N.Y., passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at UPMC Chautauqua. After a long battle of cancer. Bill was born on May 2, 1956 in Jamestown, N.Y., the son of the late Charles H. and Anna “MacTavish” Weaver. He was raised and educated in Frewsburg and graduated from Frewsburg Central School in 1974. Bill was a member, firefighter and an EMT of the Kiantone Fire Department. He formerly served on the Board of Directors at the Kiantone Fire Department and served on the Kiantone Assessor’s Board. He was a sales manager for Volkswagon- Audi of Jamestown, He owned and operated the Car Store, Jamestown. He most recently worked at the service counter at Lake County Dodge, Jamestown, N.Y. Bill was an avid motorcyclist. He enjoyed going to car rallies, car shows and reading. He enjoyed getting in the car and going for rides. He was a devoted family man and his family was his pride and joy. Going places with Bill was always an “adventure”. Bill is survived by his wife Paula Kelly Weaver whom he married on December 2, 1978; two daughters: Sara Weaver (David Thompson) and Lisa (David) Parker; one brother: David (Lynn) Weaver; a sister: Mary Lenna; four grandchildren: Devin, Kyle, Seneca and Gracelynn; one great granddaughter: Emma and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters: Janet Warner, Gloria John and Donna Johnson. Memorial contributions may be made to: Kiantone Independent Fire Department, 2318 Foote Avenue Extension, Jamestown, NY 14701. Family and friends may call at Powers, Present & Sixbey Funeral Home, Inc., 316 East Fifth Street, Jamestown, N.Y., on Wednesday from 4 PM to 7 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 AM. Rev. Clair Cable will officiate. Burial will be in Fentonville Cemetery, Frewsburg, NY.
