Virginia R Wildrick 2018

OBITUARY Virginia R. Wildrick November 4, 1932 – July 19, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Our sweet Mother Virginia Ruth Wagner Wildrick went to meet God on July 19, 2019. She grew up in Elmira, NY with wonderful parents and 8 brothers & sisters. She was the baby of 9, which made her extra special. She moved to Palm Beach Gardens in 1961. Virginia was a fun & loving woman who brought a smile to everyone she knew. In her early years, she went out to Provo, UT to attend Brigham Young University. She returned home to finish her RN nursing degree at Robert Packard Hospital. There, she met & married our Father James Wildrick in 1957. In the early years she worked for the West Palm Beach Auditorium as the nurse on duty. To keep close to her children she drove a bus for the Kings Academy picking up children in Palm Beach. She later retired from the Palm Beach County Home in 1994 after 22 yrs. of service. Virginia loved to garden and was part of the Rare Fruit Council in West Palm Beach. She enjoyed water aerobics at the North County Aquatic Complex in Jupiter as well North Palm Beach Country Club. She met with her lady co-worker friends for lunch often. The friendships from these groups brought her a lot of joy. Virginia was a collector of antique dishes from a young age. She loved garage sales & estate sales. Her favorite thing to do was travel. In the 80’s she belonged to the Gator Snow Ski Club. She traveled everywhere with the group. When her children were younger, the family would pack up the truck top camper with the Honda 70 & dog to venture out for a long road trip in the summer. She once took a 4k camping trip with her daughter in 1978 when gas was 69 cents a gallon. Our Mother was the light in our eyes, a pure joy. To hear her voice was music to our ears. She was a wonderful Mother in every way. Our world will never be the same. Virginia is survived by her children: David Wildrick (Stephanie Mandella) Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Melanie Wildrick Port St. Lucie, FL. Her Granddaughter Marissa Craft (Malaki Craft) Stuart, FL. She is predeceased by her husband James Wildrick and her loving canine companion Tiffani.
