Tommy B. Crecelius, 84, Bicknell, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Bridgepointe Health Campus. Tommy was born July 23, 1933, in Knox county, the son of Russel and Margaret (Robbins) Crecelius. He married Loretta Young, on March 22, 1968. He retired after 27 years from Otis Elevator in Bloomington in the quality control department. He was also in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and bowling. He was a member of the Bicknell French Club. Tommy is survived by his wife, Loretta Crecelius of Bicknell; daughters, Cheryl (Tom) Weddle of Bicknell, Gail (Ronnie) Adams of Tennessee, Sarah (Steve) Smiley of Odon, Lori Fulcher of Washington; sons, Mike C. Crecelius of Tennessee, John Crecelius of Washington and Mike (Sherry) Baxter of Bloomington; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; brothers Ralph (Jackie) Yagle of Dale, IN, Ronnie (Karen) Crecelius of Oklahoma and Larry (Judy) O’Dell of Kokomo; and sister, Elizabeth Crecelius of Vincennes. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Bill Howell; sisters, Phyllis Ward and Linda Wood; and grandson, Aaron Weddle. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 8 at 105 Alexander St. in Bicknell. He will be entombed at the Val Halla Memorial Gardens in Bloomington. Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Bicknell Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
