Obituary of Thomas Raes Thomas M. Raes Penfield – Saturday, July 21, 2018. Predeceased by his mother, Cecile L. Edwards. Survived by his beloved wife of 32 years Carol (Piendel) Raes; his children Justin, Eric, and Lindsay; his father Thomas L. (Kathy) Raes, Dr. Lee Edwards; sister and brother-in-law Suzette (Norman) Hastie, nephews Alex and Parker; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Joseph and Gina Piendel, nephews Brian and Adam; sister-in-law Janet Piendel, nieces Nicole and Rebecca, and nephew Phil. Tom was an avid skier and sailor. He loved tropical fish, long walks with Dexter, the Texas A&M Aggies, the New York Mets, but most of all his family. He adored his children and was proud of them and their accomplishments everyday. He was involved with Troop #9 Boy Scouts and attended countless sporting events for all of his children. He was an extraordinary husband and father. Calling hours, WEDNESDAY 4-7 PM at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Road (Webster, Rte 250 ). On Thursday, please meet the family at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph’s Church (43 Gebhardt Road, Penfield) for the celebration of his Funeral Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Roch. 14620 in memory of Tom’s mom Cecile. Interment, private in White Haven at a later date.
