Thomas Griffith Adams, Jr., 90, of Mount Savage, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, with his loving family by his side. Born November 16, 1927 in Mount Savage to the late Thomas Griffith Adams, Sr. and Isabella (Mason) Adams. In addition to his parents Tommy is preceded in death by his six siblings; Arraura Adams, George Adams, Gladys Adams, Mary Louise Schrock, Isabell Robison, and Patricia Williams. He is the last surviving member of his immediate family. Tommy was an Army Veteran and a charter member of the Mason Dixon Lions Club, Kemp Lodge #154 AF&AM Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, and Ali Ghan Shriners. He retired from Goodyear, Kelly Springfield Tire Company after 39 years as a drafting and design engineer. Surviving are his loving wife of 67 years, Mary Frances Adams; daughter, Marsha Lynn Clauson and husband Michael; grandson William Thomas Clauson (Will) and wife Emma, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A private grave side service will be held at Saint George’s Episcopal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers monetary donations can be directed to an organization of your choice in honor of Thomas G.
