Thomas Cotton Pollard 2018

OBITUARY Thomas “Cotton” Pollard October 17, 1935 – July 23, 2018 It is with great sadness that the family of Thomas R. Pollard “Cotton” announces his passing on Monday, July 23, 2018 at the age of 82. Tom “Cotton” will be lovingly remembered by his children, Michael Pollard, Debra Pollard, and Paul (Tisha) Pollard; his beloved dog, Max; and his brother John (Lavonne) Pollard and sister Nancy. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Tom “Cotton” was preceded in death by his wife, Azalia Pollard; his parents, Raymond and Harriet Pollard; and his biological mother, Peggy Carter. Tom “Cotton” was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. After his military service, he worked for McDonnell Douglas for over 40 years and retired in 1996. Cotton was an avid outdoorsman, a Bass Master, and a true family man. One of his great loves was to go shooting with his friends on the weekend. He will truly be missed by all of his family and friends. It was our father’s wish to be cremated. He didn’t want a memorial service. Instead, he wants everyone to take time to celebrate his life. Memorial donations may be made in Thomas R. Pollard’s name to the Humane Society of Missouri.
