Theresa Sherman 2018

Theresa D’Amore Sherman of East Haven died peacefully at home on June 30p, 2018. She was the wife of the late Lester Edward Sherman. Loving mother of David (Meg) Sherman. Devoted sister of Frank (Eleanor) D’Amore and the late Clara Valentino and Carmen D’Amore. Theresa was born in New Haven on April 2, 1929 to the late Antonio and Agatha Esposito D’Amore. She and her late husband had lived in Florida from 1971-1980. After his death she returned home in 1985 to care for her sister Clara before finally moving to East Haven. For the last 18 years Theresa worked as a waitress at Friendly’s Restaurant in East Haven where she made the best ice cream sundaes and made all her customers feel like family. There loved being with her friends at the Annex Club and the Jolly Timers where she enjoyed playing Pokeno and having pizza with her friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Catholic service on Tuesday morning at 11:30am in All Saints Mausoleum 700 Middletown Ave. North Haven.
