OBITUARY Theodore “Ted” Joseph Glowczwski, Sr. December 30, 1933 – July 16, 2018 Theodore “Ted” Joseph Glowczwski, Sr., 84, of St. Louis Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Tuesday, July 16, 2018 surrounded by loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Gladys (nee Tucker) Glowczwski; his wife, Mary Jane Glowczwski; and several siblings. Ted is survived by his fiancé, Maddalena Brancato; children, Ted, Jr. (Shannon) Glowczwski, Madonna (Dave) McDonald, Kathy (Steve) DiCarlo, Janey Lane, Judy (Mark) Mueller, Tim (Jill) Glowczwski, Vicky (Mike) Bittick, and Terry Glowczwski; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; sister, Joan Schneider; and brothers, Mike and Tom Glowczwski. Ted was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Rose Phillipine Duchesne Parish in Florissant and was devoted to daily prayer. He was a proud US Navy Veteran and retired from McDonnell-Douglas after 40 years of service. Ted was a fun-loving man with a great sense of humor and an amazing smile. He was extremely organized and was the provider and caretaker of his family. He made connections with everyone he met and was the first to help out when needed and Ted could fix anything! Though his tribe was large, he treated everyone the same and shared his attention equally. His sweet smile and kind heart will be missed by everyone who knew him. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Evelyn’s Hospice House and BJC Hospice for their love and care during Ted’s final weeks. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 3-8 p.m. at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home in St. Ann. Funeral service will be on Friday, July 20 at 9 a.m. He will then be laid to rest with his wife at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. with full military honors.
