Obituary for Thanhvan Ngo Thanhvan Ngo was born in Vietnam to Xu Ngo and Trinh Nguyen on January 10, 1979. She passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on July 26, 2018 at the age of 39. She was a teacher for many years. She is preceded in death by her mother, Trinh Nguyen. Thanhvan is survived by her father, Xu Ngo of Fresno; her siblings Tony Ngo, Xuan Ngo, Tram Ngo, Tu Ngo, Duong Ngo, Dueng Ngo and Duc Ngo. Visitation will be held at Chapel of the Light Funeral Home on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lavang Catholic Church on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
