Obituary for Stella H. Sigler Stella H. Sigler, 85, of Owensboro, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born on August 2, 1932 to the late Jesse Haywood and Eva Kirk Haywood. Stella enjoyed spending time with and taking care of her family. Along with her parents, Stella was preceded in death by her husband William Sigler. She is survived by her children: Larry (Elaine) Sigler, of Crawford, Tennessee, Shelia (Pat Haynes) Gulsby, of Owensboro, and Rick (Ann) Sigler, of Owensboro; and six grandchildren Tony (Bobbie Jo) Yeckering, Tony Vaughn Sigler, Mike (Karen) Sigler. Jeff (Heather Horton) Sigler, Katie (Alex) Bryant, and Mollie (Shane) Haire, as well as 8 great-grandchildren, and special friend Yong Kinison. Services will be 2 pm Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home and Crematory, with burial to follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, with Tim Hall officiating. Visitation will be from 3 pm to 8 pm Friday, July 6, 2018, and from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Heartford House.
