OBITUARY Shirley B. Jenks September 22, 1935 – July 30, 2018 Shirley B. Jenks, 82 of Louisville, passed away on July 29, 2018. She was retired from Kaplan Barron Pediatric Group after twenty years of service. She enjoyed bowling, scrapbooking, traveling, genealogy and was an avid U of L fan. Shirley is survived by her husband of 30 years, Bill Jenks, children, Greg Rich (Susan), Beth First (Chris), Kevin Jenks (Cheryl) Alan Jenks (Lori), and LeAnn Colwell (Tom), a sister, Merle Sanford, grandchildren, Jessica, Katelyn (Zack), Matthew, David, Kelsey, Daniel, Alana, Rachel, Jennifer and Jessica, great grandchildren, Claire, Caroline and Lilly. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews family and friends. A funeral service to celebrate Shirley’s Life will be celebrated at 2 pm on Thursday, August 2, 2018 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 2-8 pm on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 and after 9 am the day of the funeral. Donations in her name, may be made to Point Forward Campaign at Hikes Point Christian Church, 2601 Hikes Lane, Louisville, KY 40218.
