Life Story for Shirlee Brottlund Shirlee Brottlund, 83 of San Jacinto, California passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Victoria Gardens Residential Care in San Jacinto, California . Born Thursday, March 28, 1935 in Harvey, Illinois, she was the daughter of Walter Radzak and Frances Rura-Radzak, and the wife to her wonderful husband, Willard “Bill” Brottlund. Shirlee was a very caring person. She spent more than 25 years as a nurse in a nursing home in Carlton, Minnesota, and her and Bill also volunteered at the Hemet Valley Medical Center. In her free time, Shirlee loved to garden and read cookbooks. She also enjoyed cooking. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Brottlund. Inurnment will be at the Riverside National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you make a donation to Arbor Hospice in Hemet.
