Shelly Marie Jacobsen Gonzales January 18, 1958 – July 21, 2018 Shelly, age 60, was called home to her Heavenly Father. Her parents, Lamar and Evelyn Jacobsen, were there to greet her with open arms. She was born in Alhambra, California. She moved to Utah in her late 20’s. She was an amazing woman, a loving wife and mother who worked hard while raising her children. She married Carlos Gonzales in 1999. Their love for one another was great and though she leaved him here it always will be. She also leaved behind her amazing children Troy (Stacie) Elsner, Jason (Charity Fritzy) Elsner, Rachel Marie Elsner and her stepson Micheal James Butterfield. She was a truly adoring grandmother to Brody and Isabell Fritzy, Makenzy (Sissy), Gatlin, Hayden and Dillanger Bowen, Jessica Marshall, Tyler and Justice Hardy and baby Chandler Jaycee Shelley Elsner. Her 4 sisters Terri, Vicki, Valerie, and Tracy, and her Brother Wesley. She was a light in our lives that we will always carry until we meet again. We love you Mom. Services will be held beginning with a private family viewing at 5 p.m. on Friday July 28. It will open to friends at 5:30 at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street, Orem, Utah. A second viewing will be held at the church she attended from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral services at 11 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 1700 South 400 East Orem, Utah.
