Sharon Sue Rigg, age 63, of Mt. Sterling, Illinois passed away at 6:57 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2018 at her residence. She was born November 27, 1954 in Pittsfield, Illinois the daughter of Robert Eugene and Leta Ilene Phillips Stinson. She married Jeff Rigg in Palmyra, Missouri and he survives. Mrs. Rigg worked for JBS and Cargill in Beardstown, Illinois for several years. She attended Brown County schools. Survivors include her husband Jeff Rigg of Mt. Sterling. 3 children Jody, Jackie and Joey. 4 brothers Wayne Stinson (Benny) of Versailles, Mike Stinson (Linda) of Meredosia, Bill Stinson (Melanie) of New Salem, Illinois and Larry Stinson (Bea) of Versailles. 1 sister Janet McCluskey of Meredosia also survives along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother Robert Stinson in infancy. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 in the Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling with Pastor Brandon J. Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Hersman Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Cass-Schuyler Area Hospice. Condolences for the family may be left on line at www.hendrickerfuneralhome.com. The Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt.
