Obituary for Samuel D. Santschi Samuel D. Santschi, 63, of Holmesville, and formerly of Alliance, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, at 9:23 p.m. at University Hospital in Cleveland. He was born on February 10, 1953 to Charles I. McMahan and Bonita Heckathorn in Massillon, and had lived in Alliance most of his life. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served our country in the U. S. Navy. Sam was employed with Napa Auto Parts in Streetsboro and Ravenna for over 25 years. In his past-time, he enjoyed music and loved working on cars. He is survived by his wife, Denise Santschi, whom he married on August 14, 1971; a grandson, Matthew Blymiller of Newton Falls; an uncle and aunt, Frank and Susan McMahan of Alliance; five half-brothers and their families; three sisters-in-law and their spouses; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; and three great-great nephews. Preceding him in death was his son, Jimi Santschi; his biological parents; his parents that raised him, Alfred and Mabel Santschi; numerous aunts and uncles; and a brother by choice, Steven M. Grim. There will be no services per his request. Arrangements are by the Walton-Schrader Funeral Home, 1131 West State Street, Alliance, Ohio 44601.   1. We miss you so much Sammy. We love you and we’ll all be together again someday. I miss our talks on the phone. I miss talking to you about repairs on the cars, i miss hesring you voice saying ah geeze Denise its your sister. Hahaha. You made me cry 2 times in our life together as bro and sis in law. The first time when you told me “you do know I love you right?” It was before hou were going in for your hesrt surgery. The 2nd time is when God called you home. Til we meet again I love you Sammy.
