Ryan Lamar Grant, age 41, of Roosevelt, passed away July 20, 2018, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was with his best friend: his dog Max. He was born June 7, 1977 in Roosevelt, to Byron and Renae Nielsen Grant. Ryan will be remembered for his happy personality, friendly smile and willingness to help. He could fix almost anything and was always there if you broke down. He liked to work with his hands, he worked on big jobs as a finish carpenter. His pastimes included camping, fishing, hunting, riding horses, and his true love, riding motorcycles. He loved to be with his children, family and friends, and they will miss him greatly. Ryan is survived by his wife Rachelle Lee Grant; daughters, Tyra and Harmony Grant; step-daughter, Kaylee Sweat; parents Byron and Renae Grant; siblings, Lesa (John) Dixon, Jason (Summer) Grant, Teresa (Micah) Mitchell and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Dalton Ryan Grant. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at the Hullinger Mortuary from 10:00 a.m. -12:00 noon. After the viewing, a Memorial Service will be held at the Roosevelt West Stake Center, 50 S. Skyline Drive, at 12:30 p.m. Per his wishes, he will cremated and the cremated remains will be interred at the Roosevelt Memorial Park at a later date.
