Ruth A STULLEY 2018

Ruth A. Stulley, 98, of South High Street, Waverly, Ohio, died 8:12 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018 at William’s Wilson House, Waverly, Ohio. Ruth was born November 12, 1919 in Peebles, Ohio, daughter of the late Elbert Lyman Grooms and Hazel Opal (Herdman) Grooms. On July 17, 1937, Ruth was united in marriage to Lloyd Elmon Stulley who preceded her in death on September 27, 1998. Surviving are four daughters, Betty Jo Gildow of Waverly, Norma Jean Phillips and husband Ronald of Beverly, West Virginia, H. Louise Dailey and husband Dennis of Chillicothe, and Wanda Buskirk of Waverly, 17 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 18 great great grandchildren, brother, Elbert Junior Grooms of Latham and several nieces and nephews. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Lloyd Clifford Stulley, daughter, Hazel McCarty Eden, two brothers, Given Clifford Grooms and Paul Pershing Grooms, and two sisters, Naomi James and Norma Grooms, three grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Ruth attended Waverly New Covenant CCCU. was a retired employee of First National Bank, Waverly and a 50-year member of the Omega Grange. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 8, 2018, at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME in Waverly with Pastor Dale Reed and Pastor Justin Searles, officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery, Waverly. Friends may call at the Boyer Funeral Home from 5 – 8 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2018 and from noon on Sunday.
