Obituary for Ruth Stauring Ruth C. Stauring, (nee O’Lano), of Bensalem passed away Monday July 23, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 84. She was born in Washington, DC., and spent her childhood years in Temple Hills, MD on the Kroll Farm with her foster family until she came to Bensalem in her teens to live with her cousin, Jean (Smith) Brady, and her family. She graduated from Bensalem High School in 1952 and married the love of her life, Jim. Ruth was a homemaker until she went to work at Gemini Flowers for almost 27 years and her passion was spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving, caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Ruth touched the hearts of everyone she met, she was one special lady. She will be forever in our hearts. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Cecelia O’Lano; her beloved husband of 60 years, James E. Stauring Sr.; her sister, Florence M. O’Lano and nephew, Paul O’Lano. She will be sadly missed by her children Beth Winder (Brian), Keith Stauring, James Stauring Jr. (Mary) and her granddaughter, Jessica Stauring. She is also survived by her half brother Edward O’Lano of NJ., and Jean Brady, who was like a sister to her, and her Godchild, Beverlee (Brady) Smith; Michael Nugent (Kim), who was like a third son; niece, Karen Stauring; nephew, Robert Stauring and many cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Tuesday July 31, 2018, at 11:00 am at the Tomlinson Funeral Home 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020 followed by her service at 12:30 pm.
