Mr. Russell Ralph Ellison, Jr. age 76 of LaFollette passed away Friday, June 29, 2018. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, former Campbell County Director of Sanitation, a Member of Valley Star Masonic Lodge #577 F.&A.M. and was of the Baptist Faith. Preceded in death by Parents, Russell Ralph Ellison, Sr. and Wanda Bailey Ellison, Sister, Gwen Ellison Standifer, Nephews, Roger Standifer and Randy Bitz. Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Joan Smith Ellison; Son, Richard Ralph Ellison and wife Cathy; Daughter, Patricia Marie “Sis” Ellison Huddleston and husband Jimmy; 5 Grandchildren, Shayne, Taylor, Sara, Maria, and Monica; 7 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, Patricia Ellison Scott and husband Bob and Victoria Ellison Byrge. Several Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services Monday 6 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Arbo officiating. Masonic Rites conducted by the Valley Star Masonic Lodge will be at 5:45 P.M. before funeral services. Family and friends will meet Tuesday 10:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Powell Valley Cemetery & Memorial Gardens for graveside services and interment with Full Military Honors conducted by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
