Rose Madeline Seward, of Dover, DE , passed away Monday, July 23, 2018, in her home. She was 94. Rose was born February 18, 1924, in Elk Mills, Maryland, to the late, Conrad & Cenia (Spratt) Ganzmann. She was a member of the Order of the Red Men, Degree of Pocohontas, and in her free time enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Franklin E. Biddle and Alvin J. Seward; her brothers, William, Walter, and Clarence Ganzmann, and her sister, Anna Carroll. Rose is survived by her son, Gary J. Seward, with whom she resided; her daughter, Nancy Golden, of Wilmington; and her grandchildren, Sandy Renman, of Langhorne,PA., Susan Green, of Middletown, DE; Roger Titter, of Wilmington, DE; Christina Perdue, of Harrington, DE; and April Seward, of Dover, DE. Services are Private, at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Delaware Valley Chapter Headquarters, 399 Market St., Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA. 19106.
