On July 28, 2018, Rose Agnes Helton, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away at her home in Petal at the age of 90. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the Petal Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with interment in Forrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery to follow. Rose was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She had worked in retail for over forty years with stores such as Fine Brothers, Mississippi Britches and J. C. Penny’s before retiring.… Read More » She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Helton, Sr.; her parents; and ten brothers and sisters. Rose will be forever remembered by three sons, Carl (Kay) Helton, Jr., Bill (Debbie) Helton and Wayne Helton, all of Petal; a step-son, Charles (Patt) Helton of Hammond, LA; nine grandchildren, Carl (Anna) Helton, III , Billy (Brooke) Helton, Dustin Helton, Heather (James) Lang, Ashley (Kenny) Carter, Duke Helton, Chad Helton, Amanda (Eric) Hensarling; fifteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Anna Harrison of Madison, IN and Della Grissom of Macon. Visitation for Rose will be from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the Petal Chapel of Moore Funeral Home.
