Rose M. Bell, 87, of Grandview Road in Oil City, died Saturday morning, July 14, 2018 at her residence, following a brief illness. She was born in Bradford, Pennsylvania on July 28, 1930 to the late John C. and Lucy (Young) Bigler. She graduated from Cranberry High School in 1948. Mrs. Bell attended Cranberry United Methodist Church. She was married in Seneca on December 18, 1948 to Robert “Dietz” Bell, and he preceded her in death on May 2, 2000. Rose is survived by her sister, Jean Stellman of Oil City; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Friends and family will be received Wednesday (July 18th) from 1 – 3 p.m. in the Hile-Best Funeral Home, 2781 Rte. 257 in Seneca, where the funeral service will follow Wednesday at 3 p.m. with Rev. Deborah Ackley-Killian, pastor of Heckathorn United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Rockland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Venango VNA Foundation/Hospice, 491 Allegheny Blvd., Franklin, PA 16323.
